2. Information we collect
Account information: When you sign up (email, Google, or LinkedIn via Supabase Auth), we receive your user ID, email address, and basic profile details needed to authenticate you.
Resume and career content: Resumes, job descriptions, chat messages, templates, persona settings, and files you upload to build or tailor your documents.
Usage data: Feature usage, credit consumption, session activity, and technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and product improvement.
Payment information: Purchases are processed by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers. We may receive payment IDs, order IDs, billing status, and transaction metadata.
3. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Carifyi workspace
- Run AI features (resume tailoring, ATS analysis, LaTeX generation) at your request
- Manage credits, subscriptions, and billing
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse
- Send service-related emails (verification, receipts, security alerts)
- Comply with legal obligations
4. AI and third-party services
To deliver AI features, content you submit may be sent to third-party processors, including OpenAI for language and document tasks. We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting, Cloudflare R2 (or equivalent object storage) for file storage, and Razorpay for payments. Each provider processes data under their own privacy terms and our data-processing agreements where applicable.
Do not submit information you are not permitted to share. You are responsible for ensuring resume content complies with applicable laws and third-party confidentiality obligations.
5. Data retention
We retain account and workspace data while your account is active. You may delete resumes and documents from your library. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email info@carifyi.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember workspace preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core product.
9. Children
Carifyi is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
